After Midnight Project

After Midnight Project’s rhythmic, punk-inspired hard rock began taking shape in 2004, when vocalist Jason Evigan, drummer Dan Morris, bassist TJ Armstrong, and guitarists Spencer Bastian and Christian Meadows held their first practice in Los Angeles. By 2007, After Midnight Project’s touring ethic and introductory EP (The Becoming) had earned them a contract with Universal Motown, and the band decamped to the record studio to work on a full-length album. Let’s Build Something to Break marked their major-label debut in August 2009, and the group supported its release by joining the Warped Tour that summer.
Chasing Chariots

From Coldplay and Radiohead to Mutemath and Snow Patrol, the guys in Chasing Chariots have heard some really flattering comparisons, but have never been too comfortable with any of them. “We write music that moves us in some way and trust that it will do the same to the listener,” says singer and primary songwriter, Tony Brown. Whether it be through the lyric of a song or the experience of a live show, the guys in Chasing Chariots have been bringing something sincere and honest, since forming in 2007. The band made a trip to Nashville in early 2009 to sit down with long time influence, singer/songwriter, Andy Osenga. “Since that time, there has been a renewed sense of passion and focus for our songwriting,” says Brown. “We believe in the music we are making now, more than ever” and it shows on their latest single, “Tricky Eyes.” Keep a close eye on these five Northeast Ohians, they might surprise you.

Shining As Stars
http://www.myspace.com/shiningasstars
We came together from the remains of Jon Lincoln and Tommy Nickel’s former band in the summer of 2008. Ben Bestor (formerly of News To Tell, which also included Tommy) and Mike Bull on guitar joined quickly with Don King filling the final spot on bass. Shining As Stars pulls influences from bands such as Jack’s Mannequin, Relient K, Taking Back Sunday, and All Time Low. Shining As Stars has begun to create a solid fan base in the Canton, OH area and brings fans everything from exciting Pop-Punk, piano laced indie, or heart felt acoustic.
